HR and Time & Attendance Administrator

About the role

Auto Industrial Group is seeking an HR and Time & Attendance Administrator to manage payroll and HR administration for its Kempton Park operations. You will ensure accurate capture of attendance, timely payroll processing, and comprehensive HR reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Capture and maintain time and attendance records, verify hours and wage data.
• Prepare weekly headcount reports and calculate overtime.
• Upload payroll data to Head Office for processing and payslip generation.
• Submit absenteeism reports and investigate payroll queries.
• Assist with monthly and annual statutory returns and reconciliations.
• Maintain payroll records, employee files, sick leave records, and personal data securely.
• Compile and submit monthly HR reports and bi‑annual employee satisfaction reports.
• Update employee records, attendance registers, leave records, and job descriptions.
• Verify medical practitioners' registration status where required.
• Prepare corrective action documents linked to absenteeism reports.
• Support the training officer with monthly training reports.

Required profile

• Experience in payroll administration and HR reporting.
• Familiarity with statutory payroll returns and reconciliation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to resolve payroll queries.
• Ability to maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
