HR Administrator – Cape Town Office

About the role

We are looking for an HR Administrator to join our growing team in Cape Town. The role supports HR and office operations, ensuring processes, records and compliance activities run smoothly on a day‑to‑day basis.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date employee records and HR documentation.
• Support onboarding processes, including document collection and compliance checks.
• Maintain HR trackers, databases and assist with payroll data accuracy.
• Assist with compliance record keeping and audit preparation.
• Monitor mandatory training and compliance activities.
• Provide general administrative support across HR and office operations.
• Schedule interviews, meetings and onboarding activities.
• Act as a point of contact for basic HR queries and escalate when needed.
• Support day‑to‑day office coordination to ensure a smooth working environment.
• Help prepare basic reports and summaries for HR and operational purposes.

Required profile

• Early‑career candidate looking to build HR experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with UK and South African HR teams.
• Basic understanding of South African employment legislation (Basic Conditions of Employment Act).
• Proactive communication and problem‑solving skills.
