Hotel Porter – Hourly Paid

About the role

The Stellenbosch Hotel is looking for a dedicated Porter to join our team on an hourly basis. You will play a key part in maintaining the smooth operation of the hotel by handling guest luggage, transporting items, and supporting the front‑of‑house and housekeeping teams.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, transport and store guest luggage and parcels safely.
• Assist with the movement of hotel equipment, supplies and linens between departments.
• Provide courteous support to guests, answering basic queries and delivering items promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in service areas, corridors and storage rooms.
• Drive hotel vehicles in accordance with safety regulations.

Required profile

• Matric qualification.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Minimum two years’ experience in a driving or porter role, preferably in an up‑market 4‑star hotel.
• Hard‑working, team‑oriented and able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Professional appearance and good communication skills.
