About the role
Sedibeng TVET College is offering four 12‑month Hospitality Trainee positions at its Vanderbijlpark Campus. Trainees will support lecturers and students in the training kitchen while receiving a monthly stipend.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with training students in the kitchen during practical sessions.
- Manage kitchen stock and equipment inventory.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchens, boardroom and auditorium.
- Prepare ingredients and support lecturers during cooking sessions.
- Help prepare for functions and assist in purchasing ingredients.
Required profile
- Hospitality N6 Certificate or NC(V) Level 4 Certificate in Hospitality.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- High standards of hygiene.
- Ability to work in a team and under pressure.
