High-Value Tender and Probity Audit Specialist

About the role

RS Stanron Chartered Accountants Inc is looking for an experienced High-Value Tender and Probity Audit Specialist to support an upcoming public‑sector assurance project. The role focuses on reviewing high‑value tenders, conducting probity audits and providing pre‑award assurance for complex infrastructure and transport contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Perform high‑value tender reviews and probity audits for public‑sector projects.
• Provide pre‑award assurance and evaluate compliance with procurement legislation.
• Analyse tender documentation, bid committee processes and evaluation criteria.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and recommendations for senior management.
• Collaborate with clients to identify and mitigate procurement risks.

Required profile

• NQF Level 7 qualification in Internal Auditing, Accounting, Supply Chain Management or Law (LLB).
• Minimum seven years of auditing or assurance experience.
• At least three years of specialised experience in high‑value tender reviews, probity audits or pre‑award assurance.
• Strong knowledge of public‑sector procurement, bid committees, tender evaluation and SCM legislation.
• Experience with complex infrastructure or transport‑sector tenders is advantageous.
