Head of Platform

About the role

We are looking for a Head of Platform to lead the core product platform portfolio in the fast‑moving online gaming sector. You will shape platform strategy, align front‑end and back‑end systems, and ensure the platform supports current and future product requirements across brands and markets.

Key responsibilities

• Own the core platform portfolio, ensuring alignment across front‑end and back‑end systems.
• Define and drive platform strategy, balancing short‑term delivery with long‑term capabilities.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team of product managers, analysts and specialists.
• Enable fast, reliable product development and ensure platform scalability, sustainability and operational risk management.
• Drive consistency in APIs, data contracts and shared services.
• Partner with Engineering and Product Operations to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Communicate platform trade‑offs, priorities and dependencies to senior stakeholders.
• Operationalise governance around platform ownership, integration standards, documentation and lifecycle management.
• Identify bottlenecks, drive continuous improvement and leverage analytics to assess platform health.

Required profile

• Strong experience in product management, preferably within betting, gaming or regulated environments.
• Extensive experience leading platform or systems‑driven product teams.
• Proven leadership managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent planning, organisation and prioritisation abilities.
• Experience with delivery methodologies and product frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and decision‑making capability.
