Head of Finance – Remote (EMEA)

About the role

As Head of Finance you will lead all international finance activities for ventoré, a fast‑growing hospitality and real‑estate developer. Based remotely with a preference for Cape Town, you will work closely with the Indonesian CFO and senior leaders to provide financial clarity, optimise capital allocation and build a scalable finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Own international financial reporting (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet) for non‑Indonesian entities.
• Lead forecasting, budgeting and long‑term financial planning.
• Develop financial models for new developments, acquisitions, feasibility studies and investor scenarios.
• Maintain cost‑control discipline and support budget management across teams.
• Partner with Investment and Design & Construction to evaluate project returns, risks and capital allocation.
• Coordinate tax, regulatory and audit requirements across jurisdictions with external advisors.
• Align processes and standards with the Indonesian CFO for accurate consolidation.
• Build and mentor a small international finance team as the business scales.
• Provide concise financial insights and recommendations to the C‑suite.

Required profile

• 8+ years of finance experience, preferably in high‑growth, scale‑up environments.
• Background in hospitality, real‑estate, development or other capex‑intensive industries.
• Proven ability to work in multi‑entity, multi‑currency settings.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills, comfortable influencing senior leadership.
• Experience with remote, asynchronous teams and willingness to travel internationally.
