Head of Finance

About the role

d6 is scaling its education‑technology platform from 2,500 to 10,000 schools across South Africa and beyond. We need a senior finance leader who will shape the financial and organisational strategy, turn data into actionable insights, and build the foundations that enable rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own all financial operations, including reporting, cash‑flow management and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and execute financial and organisational strategies for market expansion.
• Translate financial data into insights that drive strategic decisions.
• Build people, HR and legal frameworks that support a growing team.
• Design and implement scalable finance processes and systems.

Required profile

• CA(SA) registration.
• 7+ years of senior financial leadership experience.
• Strategic mindset comfortable in boardroom discussions and balance‑sheet analysis.
• Experience in a SaaS or technology business is advantageous.
• Strong alignment with d6’s values of excellence, openness, accountability, customer focus and teamwork.
• Willingness to work onsite in Stellenbosch or Pretoria.
