Head of College – Registered Nurse (Home‑Based Care)

About the role
Robin Trust is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead its Home‑Based Care College. The Head of College will oversee the design, delivery and quality assurance of the QCTO‑accredited training programmes, ensuring students gain both theoretical knowledge and practical clinical exposure.
Key responsibilities
- Act as assessor and moderator for HWSETA and QCTO programmes.
- Coordinate teaching and learning activities for the QCTO Home‑Based Care (HBC) curriculum.
- Arrange and supervise clinical learning placements between the college and health‑care sites.
- Manage the submission of student files and examination processes to QCTO.
- Moderate student assessment files when required.
Required profile
- Current SANC‑registered Nurse.
- Post‑basic qualification in Nursing Education, Management and Community Health.
- HWSETA and QCTO moderator certification.
- Valid Code 8 driver’s licence.
- Minimum 10 years nursing experience and at least 5 years in nursing education after obtaining the post‑basic qualification.
- Strong communication, presentation and teamwork abilities.
