Growth Operations Specialist - Africa

About the role

Bitget Wallet is looking for a Growth Operations Specialist to drive user acquisition and community expansion across Africa. You will own end‑to‑end campaign execution, manage ambassador networks, and optimise performance across multiple crypto products.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and launch acquisition campaigns for Swap, P2P, and Web3 payment products, including competitions, learn‑to‑earn modules, and referral programmes.
• Manage performance‑marketing operations on Twitter/X, Telegram, and mobile ad networks, continuously A/B testing creatives and incentives.
• Own lifecycle marketing – push notifications, in‑app messages, WhatsApp and email re‑activation flows.
• Track ROI and funnel metrics, iterating quickly based on activation and retention data.
• Build and scale a distributed ambassador network in Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana and South Africa, handling recruitment, onboarding and performance management.
• Coordinate micro‑events such as campus meet‑ups, community hangouts and P2P trading tutorials.
• Present monthly growth reviews with period‑over‑period comparisons and maintain operational tracking systems for campaigns, ambassadors and budgets.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in growth marketing, campaign operations or community management, with 1‑2 years in a crypto exchange or Web3 wallet.
• Proven track record managing large‑scale community or ambassador programmes with measurable acquisition results.
• Deep familiarity with African crypto communities and channels (WhatsApp, Telegram, Twitter/X, TikTok).
• Highly resourceful, able to work independently in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments.
• Strong operational rigor and attention to detail across multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication, capable of coordinating with global remote and local teams.
• Based in Lagos, Nairobi, Accra or willing to relocate, with availability for domestic and regional travel.
