Group Booking Agent

About the role

The Group Booking Agent is responsible for managing and coordinating group travel requests for FlySafair. You will interact with passengers and prospective passengers through calls, emails and other communication channels, providing accurate information, processing bookings and ensuring a seamless experience.

Key responsibilities

• Book and coordinate group bookings, generate quotations and guide clients through the process.
• Answer calls, emails and other enquiries, providing information, making booking changes, and assisting with lost property or special needs.
• Verify client payments, capture passenger details and manage group changes.
• Provide timely, courteous responses and maintain high standards of customer service.
• Collect feedback on recurring passenger issues and report them to management for root‑cause resolution.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients, establishing trust and rapport.

Required profile

• Grade 12 or equivalent (essential).
• Call centre experience preferred.
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime when required.
• Accurate, up‑to‑date knowledge of FlySafair products and services.
• Professional, articulate, friendly and proactive with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong listening, communication and time‑keeping skills.
