About the role
A financial services company, represented by Parvana, is looking for motivated graduates to join its national team. The programme is a structured on-the-job learning path of over four months, where you will learn from experienced professionals and receive formal training. You can choose either the Cape Town or Johannesburg office as your base.
Key responsibilities
- Engage in research and development to explore new technologies and methodologies.
- Contribute to the development process using Scrum as the project management framework.
- Write and optimise code in 4GL, designed to run on a Unix platform.
- Take ownership of testing and debugging software to ensure high performance and reliability.
Required profile
- Recently completed Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong teamwork skills and excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills and a passion for learning.
