About the role

An established and reputable manufacturing and installation company in the timber roofing industry is looking for a dynamic and experienced General Manager / Operations Director to take full operational ownership of its business. The ideal candidate has a strong background in production management, leadership and strategic operations within a technical, construction or manufacturing environment.

Required profile

Tertiary qualification in Operations Management, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field (advantageous).
Proven senior management experience of at least 8-10 years in manufacturing, timber structures or construction.
Strong leadership and people management capabilities with a track record of operational excellence.
Sound financial and commercial acumen.
Excellent communication, planning and decision-making skills.
Driver's licence and willingness to travel to sites as required.
