About the role
WHM Recruitment Advisors is recruiting a Breakdown / Breakstop Technician based in Gezina, Pretoria. The role covers on-site client breakdown services and repairs for HVAC, compressor and refrigeration systems, with standby and breakdown response.
Key responsibilities
- Provide advanced HVAC knowledge across the full spectrum
- Fault finding and diagnostics on HVAC systems
- Analyse compressor and refrigeration systems
- Perform electronic troubleshooting and fault repair
- Deliver on-site client breakdown service and repairs
- Respond to standby and breakdown calls
Required profile
- Trade tested in Refrigeration / Airconditioning (essential)
- N3 to N6 mechanical or electrical qualification
- Safe handling of refrigerants certification (SAQCC certified, essential)
- Code B driver's licence and own transport (essential)
- Ability to think on your feet and work independently
Required skills
- Advanced knowledge of HVAC, compressors and refrigeration systems
- Electronic fault finding experience
