General Manager - Legend Golf & Safari Resort

About the role

Legend Hospitality Group is looking for an experienced, commercially focused General Manager to lead the operations of Legend Golf & Safari Resort in Limpopo. The role covers accommodation, food and beverage outlets, leisure facilities and guest services, with a focus on guest experience, revenue, profitability and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily resort operations and coordinate between departments
• Manage accommodation, food and beverage outlets, leisure facilities, events and other resort services
• Develop strategies to increase occupancy, revenue and profitability
• Prepare and manage budgets, financial forecasts and operational expenditure
• Lead, motivate and manage departmental heads and operational teams
• Maintain high standards of guest service, food and beverage quality, property presentation and operational efficiency
• Build relationships with tour operators, travel agents, corporate clients and other stakeholders
• Identify new business opportunities and grow market share
• Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements
• Oversee F&B operations, including stock control, cost management, service standards and revenue performance
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety, food safety and regulatory requirements

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management or Business Management
• At least 5 years' experience in senior hospitality or resort management
• Proven experience managing large teams, operational budgets and financial performance
• Resort operations, F&B management, leisure tourism or destination management experience is advantageous
• Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
