General Manager – Hotel Operations

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead all aspects of hotel operations at our 52‑room countryside property in Sicamore Valley, Mpumalanga. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest satisfaction, driving revenue growth, and upholding the highest hospitality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across accommodation, food & beverage, events, and leisure facilities.
• Champion service excellence to ensure every guest feels welcomed and valued.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of hospitality professionals.
• Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and drive profitability.
• Collaborate on sales and marketing initiatives to boost occupancy and brand visibility.
• Ensure property upkeep, safety, and compliance with standards.
• Build strong relationships with local partners, tour operators, and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a General Manager or senior hotel leader.
• Strong background in hospitality operations and guest service.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and deliver results.
