General Manager – Hospitality & Lodge Operations

About the role

The General Manager will partner with the Operations Director to shape and execute the annual strategy for multiple lodges within our portfolio. Based on‑site, you will ensure each property delivers outstanding guest experiences while meeting financial, sustainability and brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual operational plans for all hospitality and lodge sites.
• Lead, support and coordinate performance of Hospitality Manager, Lodge Managers, Head of Maintenance, Head Guide, Executive Chef and Procurement Manager.
• Monitor financial results, drive profitability and manage budgets across properties.
• Uphold brand, safety, risk and compliance standards, including sustainability targets.
• Oversee systems, technology and infrastructure, ensuring seamless lodge management operations.
• Manage assets, resources and community initiatives to enhance local engagement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 7–10 years of lodge or hotel operations experience, with at least 3 years in regional or multi‑property oversight.
• Proven financial and operational leadership in luxury eco‑tourism or experiential travel.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Willingness to live on‑site in a remote lodge environment.

Required skills

• Experience with lodge management systems such as NightsBridge, Semper and PANstrat.
