General Maintenance Worker – Hospitality (Stellenbosch)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable General Maintenance Worker to support a prestigious hospitality property in Stellenbosch. The role involves ensuring the property’s facilities are well‑maintained, safe and presented to the high standards expected by guests.

Key responsibilities

• Perform sanding and minor repairs on furniture and fixtures.
• Carry out minor painting tasks and touch‑ups.
• Inspect common areas and exterior spaces, reporting any issues to the Maintenance Manager.
• Conduct daily room inspections before guest arrivals.
• Execute maintenance fixes such as repairing broken locks, plumbing issues, and woodwork.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of hands‑on maintenance experience, preferably in a hospitality setting.
• Good communication skills and fluency in spoken English.
• Attention to detail and a well‑presented, enthusiastic attitude.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, public holidays and night shifts.
