Functional Loans Consultant - TRBK

About the role

SAP Fioneer is looking for a Functional Loans Consultant for its SAP Transactional Banking (TRBK) practice. You will bring specialist expertise in Banking Loans Management processes and SAP Fioneer Core Banking solutions, working with banking clients, business stakeholders, architects and technical teams to analyse requirements, design functional solutions and support implementation and evolution of SAP Banking Loans Management. The role covers the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, migration and production support, and supports S/4HANA Transactional Banking transition and conversion engagements. It focuses on Loans Management, not SAP CML.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a functional subject matter expert in SAP Banking Loans Management, applying knowledge of banking lending processes and the SAP Fioneer solution.
• Run workshops with banking clients to gather requirements, analyse existing processes and system landscapes, and turn business needs into functional requirements.
• Develop functional specifications, business process definitions, solution designs and supporting documentation.
• Support implementation and evolution of Loans Management solutions, including functional configuration and solution validation.
• Contribute to transition and conversion projects, assessing functional impact, analysing custom functionality and designing standard-based solutions or workarounds.
• Prepare and review functional test scenarios, support SIT and UAT, investigate defects and validate solutions against requirements.
• Support Loans Management migration, data validation, reconciliation and related testing.
• Work with technical consultants and solution architects to resolve dependencies and integrate solutions, and conduct functional reviews.
• Communicate with client stakeholders, guide them functionally and support solution demonstrations.
• Contribute to delivery planning, effort estimation, progress reporting, go-live preparation and post-go-live support.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
• 6-8 years of relevant experience in SAP Banking Services, Banking Loans Management or SAP Transactional Banking implementations and support.
• Demonstrable functional expertise in SAP Banking Services Loans Management and/or S/4HANA TRBK.
• Experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, functional specification and solution design, and in supporting implementation, enhancement, upgrade, transition or conversion projects.
• Experience in functional testing, including test scenario preparation, SIT, UAT, defect analysis and solution validation.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a distributed, international project environment, with strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Business-fluent English, written and spoken.

Required skills

• SAP Banking Services Loans Management and/or S/4HANA TRBK
• Nice to have: S/4HANA TRBK transition or conversion experience, exposure to loans data migration and validation, familiarity with SAP Activate, Agile/Scrum, Jira and Confluence, and SAP Banking Services or TRBK certification.
