Full Time Lecturer: Marketing

About the role

The university is seeking a full‑time Lecturer in Marketing to join the Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing programme at the Tygervalley Campus, Cape Town. You will design and deliver lectures, lead discussions and practical sessions, and support students throughout their academic journey.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, workshops and tutorials for various marketing modules.
• Design, update and assess course content, examinations, assignments and presentations.
• Provide academic advice, mentorship and timely feedback to students.
• Contribute to curriculum planning, review and alignment with industry standards.
• Engage in professional development and collaborate on teaching‑related research.
• Manage administrative tasks such as attendance, grading and reporting.
• Promote an inclusive classroom environment and support diverse learners.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (NQF Level 9) in Marketing.
• Professional certification or proven experience in digital marketing disciplines (SEO, Google Analytics, Google Ads, website development/management).
• Relevant industry experience in marketing and digital marketing is preferred.
• Prior lecturing experience in both face‑to‑face and online environments.
