Full Stack Developer – ServiceNow (Contract) – Gauteng/Hybrid

About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with deep ServiceNow expertise to join the core Software Engineering team of the Group IT Hub South Africa. The role focuses on enhancing, migrating, and transforming the Inter‑company IT Cost Charging model and related operational workflows within a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise ServiceNow platform enhancements based on user stories and business requirements.
• Support migration, transformation and continuous improvement of the IT Cost Charging model.
• Maintain and extend scripts using JavaScript, Shell, Perl or Java to automate enterprise solutions.
• Ensure configuration governance across the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
• Collaborate with international stakeholders to translate ambiguous requirements into clean, automated backend services.

Required profile

• 4+ years of commercial experience in full‑stack development and scripting.
• Strong ability to work autonomously and bridge complex business needs with technical specifications.
• Excellent interpersonal and intercultural communication skills for senior‑level stakeholder engagement.
• Resilient, self‑motivated and calm under high‑pressure troubleshooting scenarios.
