Full Manager Bookkeeper – Onsite in Cape Town

About the role

Roofco Steel is seeking a Full Manager Bookkeeper to lead its financial administration on‑site in Cape Town. This full‑time position will oversee day‑to‑day bookkeeping, ensure accurate financial recording, and support strategic decision‑making for a leading steel roofing manufacturer and distributor.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger, process invoices, and manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and payroll records.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and assist in the preparation of annual financial statements.
• Support budgeting, cash‑flow forecasting, and financial analysis for management.
• Coordinate tax documentation and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Refine financial processes, implement internal controls, and maintain audit‑ready records.

Required profile

• Strong bookkeeping experience, preferably in manufacturing, distribution, or construction environments.
• Relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site in Cape Town and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
