Front of House Manager – Immediate Start

About the role

Six Star Select is seeking a polished, service‑driven Front of House Manager for a high‑volume, up‑market restaurant in the Sandton/Melrose area. The role starts at the beginning of June 2026 and requires a hands‑on leader who can maintain hospitality standards in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all Front of House operations, ensuring smooth daily service.
• Lead the floor during service to deliver exceptional guest experiences and efficient workflow.
• Implement and uphold opening and closing procedures.
• Supervise, motivate, and support FOH staff, fostering high performance.
• Maintain the highest standards of service, presentation, and guest engagement.
• Train and develop staff to consistently deliver high‑level service.
• Assist with stock control and receive deliveries as needed.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
• Handle guest queries, complaints, and service recovery professionally.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 + years experience as a Front of House Manager in an up‑market or high‑volume restaurant.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized with strong problem‑solving ability.
• Well‑presented, professional, and service‑focused.
• Stable employment history with verifiable, contactable references.
