About the role

Join a premier fine‑dining restaurant in Johannesburg’s Northern Suburbs as a Front House Floor Manager. You will lead the front‑of‑house team to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a high‑end hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and manage the front‑of‑house staff, overseeing hiring, training and performance management.
• Maintain fine‑dining service standards and etiquette while continuously enhancing guest satisfaction.
• Organise reservations, seating plans and service flow to ensure smooth operations.
• Address guest complaints professionally and maintain strong communication with patrons.
• Coordinate special events and private dining experiences with meticulous planning.
• Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, revenue tracking and expense control.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all front‑of‑house activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration or a related field (preferred).
• 5‑7+ years of front‑of‑house management experience, including 2‑3 years in a senior role at a high‑end or luxury restaurant.
• Proven ability to lead teams in a fast‑paced, fine‑dining setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with restaurant management software.
• Experience using point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
