Front Desk Administrator

About the role

Glenelly Estate in Stellenbosch is looking for a friendly, professional and highly organised person to join its team. This is a guest-facing administrative position supporting the Tasting Room, Glass Museum and The Vine Bistro, ensuring a welcoming, efficient and seamless experience for all visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage reservations, enquiries and guest communications
• Welcome guests and assist with face-to-face enquiries
• Coordinate bookings across the Tasting Room, Glass Museum and The Vine Bistro
• Handle general administration, correspondence and record-keeping
• Liaise with the various departments to ensure smooth daily operations

Required profile

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm, professional manner and strong customer service focus
• Highly organised, accurate and able to multitask
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
• Previous experience in hospitality, reservations or reception preferred
• Own reliable transport is advantageous; flexibility is essential, including weekend work and occasional evening shifts

Required skills

• Fully computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience with iKentoo and Dineplan is advantageous
