About the role
A franchise seafood restaurant in Midrand is seeking an experienced, team‑oriented Restaurant Manager. The role involves leading both front‑ and back‑of‑house operations in a sit‑down dining environment.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee comprehensive front‑ and back‑of‑house operations, ensuring smooth service delivery.
- Manage daily administration tasks, including opening and closing procedures.
- Control inventory management to maintain stock levels and reduce waste.
- Train, coach, and supervise staff to deliver high‑quality service.
- Maintain composure and efficiency under high‑pressure conditions.
Required profile
- Minimum four years of sit‑down dining experience, preferably within a franchise setting.
- Strong leadership and team‑orientation with ability to train and manage staff.
- Proven ability to stay composed and efficient in high‑pressure environments.
- Fast‑food experience will not be considered.
