Fractional Financial Manager

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing professional services firm, is looking for an experienced Fractional Financial Manager to support a portfolio of SME and scaling business clients in Somerset West. The role offers exposure to diverse industries and the chance to deepen strategic advisory capabilities while driving financial success for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts, financial reports and reconciliations for multiple clients.
• Develop annual financial statements, budgets, forecasts, cash‑flow plans and cost‑modelling analyses.
• Lead monthly financial meetings, provide strategic insights and support performance‑improvement initiatives.
• Design and implement financial SOPs, dashboards and reporting cadences.
• Assist with tax planning, audit processes and compliance with accounting standards.
• Support finance‑related projects such as ERP implementations, restructuring and due‑diligence exercises.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a financial manager or senior accountant, preferably in an outsourced or advisory setting.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial data into strategic recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and presentation.
• Ability to manage multiple client portfolios and meet tight reporting deadlines.
