About the role
The Food Safety / SHEQ Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all food safety standards and occupational health, safety, environment and quality (SHEQ) regulations are fully complied with across our manufacturing operations.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain food safety compliance in line with HACCP and FSSC 22000 requirements.
- Conduct SHE & quality management audits and inspections.
- Identify, assess and manage risks related to food safety and environmental health.
- Investigate incidents, prepare reports and implement corrective actions.
- Deliver training programmes on food safety, SHE and quality standards.
Required profile
- Degree or diploma in Food Safety, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management or a related field.
- Minimum five years of experience in food, FMCG or other manufacturing environments.
Required skills
- HACCP certification.
- FSSC 22000 certification.
- ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations.
- Auditing expertise.
What we offer
- Salary: R18 000 CTC.
