Food & Beverage Waiter

About the role

The Capital Hotels is seeking a motivated Food & Beverage Waiter to deliver high‑quality service across its restaurant, room‑service and function areas. You will be part of a team that values dignity, integrity and rapid career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly, fast and efficient manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of dining areas, tables and service stations.
• Assist with stock management, ensuring supplies are stocked and organized.
• Collaborate with kitchen and other front‑of‑house staff to meet guest expectations.
• Handle guest requests and resolve issues calmly under pressure.

Required profile

• Matric (or equivalent) qualification.
• Previous restaurant experience is essential.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills with guests and colleagues.
• Honest, trustworthy and detail‑oriented.
• Presentable appearance and clear spoken English.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts.
