FinOps Controller – Logistics Operations

About the role

The FinOps Controller will ensure that every logistics or commodity movement is accurately managed, tracked, reported, communicated, and invoiced. This role bridges operations, finance, and customers to align performance with revenue and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project documentation from initiation through completion.
• Monitor stock movements, compile daily/weekly/monthly reports, and verify inventory using CMS and WMS.
• Coordinate operational instructions with ports, warehouses, and customers.
• Prepare, process, and raise invoices on NetSuite; create purchase orders and maintain invoice trackers.
• Communicate project updates via phone, email, and WhatsApp, including photographic evidence of stockpiles.
• Escalate delays, investigate discrepancies, and provide final project summaries.
• Maintain compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure all documentation is approved.

Required profile

• Experience in logistics or supply‑chain administration.
• Background in operations administration, freight forwarding, inventory control, finance operations, or project administration.
• Customer‑service experience within logistics or mining environments.
