Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

About the role

The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager leads the FP&A function, providing insightful analysis, forecasting and reporting to support strategic and operational decisions across the Group. You will partner with business leaders, drive budgeting processes and implement automated financial workflows to enhance performance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct advanced financial modelling and scenario analysis to influence executive‑level strategic decisions.
• Translate trading and financial data into clear insights, linking operational drivers to performance.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting activities, delivering reliable group reporting and proactive risk, trend and opportunity identification.
• Assume full custodianship of group management accounting reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance.
• Provide management accounting guidance to ensure consistency and comparability across the Group.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, advising on financial insights and strategic implications.
• Engage external providers to meet group standards and reporting requirements.
• Manage team workload across multiple reporting cycles, ensuring timely delivery of high‑quality outputs.
• Design and implement automated financial processes, improving efficiency, accuracy and reporting speed.

Required profile

• CA(SA) or CIMA qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of FP&A experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Proven ability to deliver accurate, timely financial analysis and reporting at a group level.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
