About the role

Liberty Standard Bank Group is seeking motivated Financial Planners to join its Championship Team in Johannesburg. You will help South Africans achieve financial confidence by delivering tailored advice across retirement, investment, tax and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct client consultations to understand financial goals and current circumstances.
• Develop personalized financial plans covering retirement, investments, tax and risk mitigation.
• Provide investment recommendations aligned with client risk tolerance and market trends.
• Maintain long‑term client relationships through regular reviews and strategy adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.
• Stay current on financial products, industry trends and regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Matric certificate and a degree in finance, economics or a related field.
• Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
• Client‑centric mindset with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Analytical capability to interpret financial data and devise strategic solutions.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and goal‑driven attitude.
• High integrity and commitment to professional ethics.
