Financial Manager – Strategic & Operational Lead

About the role

JD Implemente (Pty) Ltd is looking for a seasoned Financial Manager to lead the development and execution of financial and operational strategies. The role combines strategic planning with day‑to‑day financial management to ensure the sustainability and growth of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement financial and operational strategies aligned with corporate goals.
• Manage the strategic financial plan, budgeting, and cost‑control initiatives.
• Oversee balance‑sheet management, debtor management, and treasury activities, including forex transactions.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, income tax, IFRS, and other statutory requirements.
• Lead financial reporting cycles (monthly, quarterly, annual) and coordinate audit processes.
• Maintain insurance claims, service level agreements, and contract oversight.
• Support pricing, discounting decisions, and margin optimization.
• Act as Compliance Officer and Director, handling stakeholder relationships with auditors, lawyers, and service providers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior financial management, preferably within a corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of IFRS, tax regulations, and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to evaluate business risks and implement effective control measures.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills to interpret financial implications for management.
