About the role

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced financial professional to join a leading independent financial brokerage. The role offers a basic monthly salary plus a lucrative commission structure, providing an exciting opportunity for growth and success.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and review existing client portfolios, delivering professional financial advice.
• Prospect and acquire new clients to expand the brokerage’s book of business.
• Provide a range of financial products and services, building rapport and confidence with clients.
• Collaborate with various FSPs and internal departments to resolve client queries efficiently.
• Develop tailored comprehensive financial plans, covering investment, retirement, estate, and tax optimisation.
• Stay informed on market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes.
• Assess risk tolerance and recommend appropriate risk‑management strategies.
• Identify cross‑selling and upselling opportunities and network at industry events.
• Maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with regulations, and prepare regular reports for management and clients.

Required profile

• Minimum Matric with tertiary education in a finance‑related field (e.g., NQF5 Wealth Management or BCom).
• Fit and Proper status with relevant class of business.
• At least 3 years of experience in a financial planning role.
• Driver’s licence and own vehicle (non‑negotiable).

Required skills

• Excellent command of Microsoft Excel.
