Financial Educator and Worksite Facilitator

About the role

The Financial Educator and Worksite Facilitator will deliver high‑quality retirement fund education and drive workplace engagement for members of Old Mutual’s retirement funds. You will lead both virtual and in‑person sessions, showcase digital tools, and help members navigate preservation and annuity strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate structured education sessions according to the training calendar and ad‑hoc needs.
• Demonstrate digital platforms and tools that support members throughout their journey.
• Promote digital attendance registers and feedback mechanisms for accurate tracking and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with internal Consulting, Growth, and Retention teams to identify workplace initiatives and generate qualified leads for financial advisers.
• Coordinate quarterly forums with stakeholders to raise awareness of education and worksite programmes.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of legislative, regulatory and industry developments relevant to retirement funds.
• Compile management reports on session activity, engagement trends and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with all legislative, regulatory and internal governance requirements.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in financial education, member engagement or related financial services roles.
• Strong understanding of retirement fund concepts, preservation and annuitisation strategies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Proactive, collaborative mindset with ability to build relationships with internal and external partners.
