Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will ensure accurate and timely rent‑roll payments and provide administrative support for lease agreements. Working within a dedicated leasing team, you will manage document facilitation, processing and reconciliations to keep landlord payments running smoothly while complying with IFRS 16 lease accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Process and reconcile rent‑roll payments to landlords using the property management system.
• Facilitate lease documentation and ensure agreements are captured correctly in the system.
• Apply IFRS 16 principles to all lease accounting activities.
• Support budgeting, year‑end close and financial reporting for the leasing portfolio.
• Perform arrears reconciliation and calculate turnover rentals.
• Collaborate with the leasing team to expedite agreement finalisation.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in finance, accounting or related field.
• Experience in lease accounting or property‑related financial control.
• Strong understanding of IFRS 16 standards.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets.
