Financial Consultant – OMF Fountains Mall Jeffrey's Bay

About the role

Old Mutual is hiring a Financial Consultant for its OMF Fountains Mall Jeffrey's Bay branch. The consultant advises clients on a defined range of products for a specific allocated market and is individually accountable for achieving results through their own efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Customer service: handle simple customer inquiries, receive visitors and refer complex matters to colleagues
• Solutions analysis: assess routine inquiries against established standards and protocols
• CRM data: keep basic customer details accurate and record follow-up actions and notes from each sales call
• Clarify customer needs using a multilevel sales script, then prospect potential customers by phone or in person
• Act as first point of contact for customer queries and complaints
• Follow mandatory procedures to meet quality standards and regulatory and internal codes of conduct
• Support business development, identify leads from existing customers' referrals and recommendations, and enter data into spreadsheets or standard formats
• Take part in a network of people, technologies and ideas inside and outside the company

Required profile

• NQF Level 4 qualification, Grade 12 school leaving certificate, National or Occupational Certificate or equivalent
• Appointment made from the designated group in line with the Employment Equity Plan of Old Mutual South Africa
