External Sales Representative - LED Lighting

About the role

A client of Redline Recruitment, a company specialising in LED lighting products and solutions, is looking for a motivated, results-driven External Sales Representative to grow its customer base and drive sales in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) and surrounding areas. The position is full-time and based in Port Elizabeth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business through cold calling, client visits and lead generation.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
• Promote and sell LED lighting products and recommend suitable solutions.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing and close sales.
• Follow up on leads and quotations to secure business.
• Achieve sales targets and keep accurate sales records.
• Research market trends and identify opportunities for business growth.

Required profile

• Previous external sales or business development experience.
• Experience in LED lighting, electrical products or technical sales is advantageous.
• Proven ability to generate leads and meet sales targets.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to clients.

• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive and customer-focused.

What we offer

• Salary from R18,000 gross per month plus commission.
• Company vehicle, depending on experience.
