Financial Advisor Assistant

About the role

Combined Wealth is looking for a highly organised, professional and motivated person to provide administrative and client service support to one of its Senior Financial Advisors in Cape Town. The role helps manage the day-to-day running of the advisor's practice and keeps client relationships strong.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational support to a Senior Financial Advisor.
• Prepare and process investment and insurance documentation.
• Liaise with clients, investment platforms and product providers.
• Assist with new business applications, investment switches, withdrawals and policy servicing.
• Maintain accurate client records so that documentation meets compliance requirements.
• Schedule client appointments and help prepare meetings.
• Follow up on outstanding applications and client requests.
• Keep client information and files organised in one online system and prepare information for compliance meetings.

Required profile

• Previous experience in the financial services industry, preferably in a financial advisory practice.
• Knowledge of investment products, retirement funds and insurance products.
• Professional approach to client confidentiality and service.

Required skills

• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Office.
• High attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
