Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will support CBRE Excellerate’s commercial real‑estate operations across Africa and the Middle East. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end financial processes, ensuring accurate billing, robust reporting, and effective cash‑flow management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client billing and invoicing, follow up on outstanding invoices, and ensure alignment with contracts and SAP.
• Oversee debtor management, allocate payments, and process withholding tax certificates.
• Control purchase orders, monitor long‑standing orders, and verify supplier funding.
• Prepare expense and income accruals, reconcile balance‑sheet items, and support month‑end close.
• Produce monthly financial analysis, variance analysis, and present findings to business unit leads.
• Coordinate external audit activities, provide requested documentation, and address audit queries promptly.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and 5 years of operational finance in facilities management, manufacturing, or contract‑based environments.
• BCom degree or equivalent; CIMA qualification is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
