Finance and Operational Team Leader

About the role

The Finance and Operational Team Leader will oversee the financial health and operational efficiency of NxaTel. Reporting directly to the CEO, the role combines finance, administration, customer service and sales administration responsibilities to ensure accurate billing, timely reporting and smooth internal coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable: oversee customer billing, master‑file maintenance, credit control, generate and post monthly invoice files, prepare billing insight reports and handle receipt posting and debtor records.
• Handle accounts payable and overall financial management: supervise daily accounting functions, lead budget planning, monthly forecasting, payroll administration, cash‑flow monitoring and ledger reconciliations.
• Supervise administrative operations: control office procurement, space management, enforce SOPs, provide executive support and resolve escalated administrative issues.
• Lead and develop teams: directly manage Finance, Admin, Customer Service and Sales Admin staff, conduct performance reviews, set KPIs and mentor team members.
• Report on overdue accounts, produce weekly top‑20 overdue client reports and contribute to company‑wide planning with other team leads.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance and operations leadership, preferably in a SaaS or communications environment.
• Ability to produce accurate financial reports, manage budgets and oversee payroll.
• Strong organisational skills to supervise multiple functional teams and enforce administrative procedures.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting to senior management and coordinating cross‑functional initiatives.
