Finance & Accounting Analyst – Senior (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a senior Finance & Accounting Analyst to join a fast‑growing smart‑building technology company. The role is fully remote and aligned with U.S. business hours, supporting both strategic finance initiatives and day‑to‑day accounting operations as the company modernises its financial infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Build, maintain and optimise financial models for forecasting and strategic planning.
• Conduct variance analysis and deliver data‑driven recommendations to senior leadership.
• Assist in restructuring the back‑office finance function and support cost‑optimisation projects.
• Operate within Microsoft Dynamics for accounting workflows and support migration from QuickBooks.
• Manage full‑cycle accounting including AP, AR, reconciliations, journal entries, month‑end close and financial statement preparation.
• Ensure audit‑ready records and support payroll processing and cash‑flow tracking as needed.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in finance, accounting or financial analysis.
• Proven ability to build and maintain financial models in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong background in full‑cycle accounting operations.
• Solid understanding of U.S. business models and accounting practices.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

• Microsoft Excel (advanced financial modelling).
• Microsoft Dynamics (accounting and ERP workflows).
• QuickBooks (experience with data migration).
