Finance & Accounting Analyst (Remote, Senior)

About the role

The Finance & Accounting Analyst will support a fast‑growing smart‑building technology company by modernising its back‑office finance function and providing data‑driven insights for strategic decisions. This fully remote, senior‑level position works on U.S. business hours and plays a key part in an ERP migration and broader operational restructuring.

Key responsibilities

• Build, maintain and optimise financial models for forecasting and strategic planning.
• Conduct variance analysis and deliver actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
• Develop forecasting frameworks to improve financial visibility.
• Support cost‑optimisation initiatives and process improvements.
• Operate within Microsoft Dynamics, assisting the migration from QuickBooks and ensuring data integrity.
• Manage full‑cycle accounting including AP, AR, reconciliations, journal entries, month‑end close and financial statement preparation.
• Assist with payroll processing and cash‑flow tracking as needed.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in finance, accounting or financial analysis.
• Proven ability to build and maintain financial models in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong background in full‑cycle accounting operations.
• Solid understanding of U.S. business models and accounting practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
