Field Service Technician – Industrial Equipment

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Field Service Technician who enjoys solving technical challenges, working directly with customers, and travelling to various industrial sites across South Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults on mining and industrial equipment.
• Install, commission, and maintain a range of process machinery.
• Provide on‑site technical support and deliver high‑quality customer service.
• Travel extensively, including occasional overnight stays, to meet client needs.

Required profile

• Qualified Millwright, Mechanical Technician, or equivalent trade qualification.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a field service role.
• Proven experience with mechanical process equipment such as magnetic separators, vibrating equipment, conveyors, screens, and pumps.
• Strong mechanical fault‑finding and troubleshooting abilities.
• Basic electrical and hydraulic knowledge (advantageous).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively.
