General Worker – Baking (Fixed-Term)

About the role
RCL Foods, the maker of brands such as Yum Yum, Nola, Ouma and Sunbake, is seeking a General Worker for its baking operation in Durban on a fixed‑term basis. You will report to the Production Manager and support daily bakery production.
Key responsibilities
- Perform start‑up checks on equipment according to procedures.
- Report breakdowns and machine issues to the team leader.
- Maintain equipment and utensils, keeping the work area clean and tidy.
- Conduct handover with the next shift.
Required profile
- Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
- Basic baking and loading exposure.
- Manufacturing or bakery experience is an advantage.
Required skills
- Basic baking skills.
- Ability to handle and maintain bakery equipment.
