Field Sales Representative (Cleaning & Hygiene)

About the role

A company in the corporate cleaning and hygiene sector is looking for a results-oriented Field Sales Representative in Durban. The role drives business growth in line with budgeted forecasts by sourcing new business, maintaining client relationships and ensuring high-quality service delivery. It is a full-time, permanent position involving client visits.

Key responsibilities

• Sourcing new business through planning, networking, cold calling and leads, according to KPIs.
• Contacting prospective clients regularly to build long-term relationships.
• Maintaining current customer relationships and ensuring after-sales service meets expectations.
• Preparing and submitting quotations under the current pricing model, with specification or authorisation from the Managing Director.
• Identifying, formulating and submitting viable tenders within deadlines, and keeping statutory documents up to date.
• Developing and delivering PowerPoint presentations tailored to target customers' needs.
• Reporting regularly to management on sales performance, targets versus actuals, pipeline status and quotation viability.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of proven sales experience in the hygiene and cleaning services sector.
• Minimum Grade 12 (Matric).
• Valid driver's licence and a reliable vehicle.

• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused, initiative-driven and self-motivated; attention to detail and a team player.
