About the role

The Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness seeks a Facility Manager to lead primary health care services within the Klipfontein geographic area. This full‑time position oversees community‑based services, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities

Manage Primary Health Care and Community Orientated Primary Care (COPC) services in the designated area.
Develop and coordinate strategic and operational plans for service delivery.
Oversee financial, supply‑chain and human‑resource functions, including staff performance and labour relations.
Ensure quality management, occupational health and safety, and infection‑control measures are implemented.
Engage with community groups and relevant stakeholders to foster collaboration.

Required profile

Three‑year National Diploma or Degree.
Managerial experience in an NGO, private organisation or state sector.
Valid Code B/EB driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the sub‑structure.
Leadership ability in health‑management settings and strong interpersonal skills.
