Extra Heavy Duty Driver (Lubricants)

About the role

Sasol, a worldwide integrated chemicals and energy firm, is hiring an Extra Heavy Duty Driver in Secunda, Mpumalanga, to operate heavy-duty vehicles that transport Sasol lubricants to customers. The position is full time, under the Energy Marketing & Sales division, and focuses on safe, on-time and complete deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the timely and precise execution of all lubricant deliveries.
• Ensure dependable, on-time and complete deliveries using the company's fleet.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and document any defects.
• Carry out deliveries according to the designated delivery sequence.
• Complete delivery documentation accurately and minimize downtime.
• Identify operational risks, including OHS Act compliance, and report them to the line manager.
• Report and record incidents, take part in root cause analysis, and follow site, operational and SHERQ protocols.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Code EC (Code 14) driver's licence and a valid professional driver permit (PrDP).
• At least 2 years of driving experience.
