About the role

As an External Sales and Service Advisor Lead, you will drive sales within the KZN South & West region, applying proven sales techniques to meet targets, strengthen client relationships and support the overall success of the team.

Key responsibilities

  • Apply appropriate sales processes to achieve targets and build lasting client relationships.
  • Retrieve qualified leads from internal pipelines and generate new business through external channels.
  • Contact prospective clients, present banking products and manage the end‑to‑end client journey from proposal to post‑sale support.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of product pricing, application procedures and timelines to drive sales.
  • Analyse competitor information, monitor market trends and identify new business opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with governance, legislation and audit requirements.

Required profile

  • Completed a FSCA‑recognised FAIS NQF Level 5 qualification or higher.
  • Passed the First Level Regulatory Examination.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and grow a business portfolio.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and client needs.

Required skills

  • Knowledge of banking products, pricing structures and application processes.
  • Ability to analyse competitor data and spot market opportunities.
  • Competence in managing the full client lifecycle from prospecting to post‑sale queries.
