External Sales Representative

About the role

Energi Solutions Africa is looking for an experienced, customer‑focused External Sales Representative to join its growing sales team. You will be responsible for generating new business, managing an existing portfolio of industrial clients, and delivering technical sales solutions that meet customer needs while driving sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue within the assigned territory.
• Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities while expanding relationships with current customers.
• Promote and sell heating and energy optimisation solutions by understanding client operations and recommending appropriate applications.
• Conduct regular site visits, presentations, technical consultations and product demonstrations.
• Prepare accurate quotations, negotiate commercial terms and manage opportunities through to order completion.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, ensuring high service standards and long‑term satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Internal Sales teams to design effective technical solutions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and industry developments to maintain a competitive edge.
• Maintain sales forecasts, customer records and activity reports using the company’s CRM system.
• Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets and profitability objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in external or field sales, preferably within industrial or energy sectors.
• Strong customer‑orientation with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory and conduct on‑site meetings.
• Results‑driven mindset with a track record of meeting or surpassing sales targets.
• Collaborative attitude to work closely with engineering and internal teams.
